We recently built a swimming pool with a 12" thick 4000psi concrete floor with a double mat of #4 rebar and an 8-inch thick 5000 psi shotcrete wall with a single #4 mat and #5 bond beam rim.
The pool was filled in July, then was drained completely in October for remedial work. Upon refilling a short time later, the shell is developing linear cracks that start near the base of the wall and extend out into the floor. The longest is about 12 feet and the widths are no more than 1/16".
What could cause this and is epoxy resin injection the best fix?
