Just moved into a 7 y.o. home in Colorado with a walkout basement. Being from California, all this is new to me. We had an inspector look at the house but nothing looked bad. 3 months later I have noticed that the sump pump goes off every 20 min and drains about 6 ft from the house onto river rocks and in the drain path going about 30 ft into the backyard there is about 1 inch of standing water. Worse yet, in our basement storage room which is towards the front of the house water is seeping from the floor!! Who do I even call to look at this???? :confused:
