I have a finished basement and had a company install a 136 foot subfloor system with two subpumps in 1999 with a guarantee of a dry basement. I have not had a dry basement except for a brief period of a few months. With the last rain fall the pumps were working (one being a 1/2 HP) but I am not sure what to do. We fired the company who installed the system and got another company to come in. They recommed that we change the pipes from a 2 inch corregated to their smooth and larger pipe. How can I be sure this is the right approach?
