Foundation problems

I am new to this site. I am so upset over the work we had done by
Olshan and thier Cable-Lock system I just wanted to post this to save
someone else all the trouble we are having. We are trying to figure out
how a company has been is business since 1933 could have made it
by doing jobs like we received.

I hired Olshan Foundation out of Little Rock, Ar, but thier headquarters are in Houston, TX. I do live in Batesville, Ar. They sent 4 workers up to the job with 3 shovels, 1 pick, and 4 or 5 hydraulic jacks. Our ground is clay and it is like concrete. The gentleman who came up to give us an estimate said they do not use heavy equipment to dig they use shovels. It was impossible to think these guys could dig the trenches with shovels. We had to hire a local contractor with a backhoe to dig the trenches. We were also told it could be finished in one day, which was not possible, even with the backhoe. We actually saw a worker filling up one of the trenches with the jack still under the house. We chose Olshan because they are a huge company that has offices in nearly every state and has been in business since 1933. We really don't understand what happen with our job. I would like to talk to others who have had the cable-lock sysytem installed.

I would like to correspond with anyone who has had work by Olshan Co.( They repair foundations). Have home that needs raised as walls and brick are cracking.
Have 3 bids Olshan is cheapest but after seeing complaints not sure if I want to use Olshan of Little Rock, Ar

I Used to work for Olshan. Here is the thing, and dont take this the wrong way, Olshan may have alot of complaints, but they will ALWAYS come back to make things right. Every foundation company has its flaws, but they have a lifetime warranty on the peirs and manta rays. Now dont think I am defending Olshan, I have just seen other companies compared to them and how hard it is to get the other guys to come back on a warranty call. Olshan has Production managers that actually run warranty appointments almost all day sometimes! If you do go with someone else just be sure to do alot of research you would be suprised how many people have had something done to their foundation.
