Floor Wetness

I am experiencing wetness on my basement floor. If I leave an object on the floor for several days and later remove it I notice water stain marks/condensation. My basement is plain concrete floor - it is not finished and i have no plans to finish. I am considering a Dry-Lok material for the floor even though the labels indicate not for foot traffic places - my basement receives very minimal traffic - I am probably on it less than once every two weeks.

Any insight/experience as to using Dry-Lok or similar on the floor? Any products you recommend I try myself prior to contacting outside help.
