I have a question about foundation repair. What should I expect on a certificate to give to subsequent homebuyers? Should it give sufficient detail to explain what was done, to what level underground, names of subcontractors (if any), what kind of materials were used (i.e. 5 sack concrete) - basically tracking the work order? Or should I only expect warranty information?

It varies from company to company. I would recommend a copy of the work order and job completion form. A warranty explaining what and for how long the warranty is. I would also request copies for your record of any piers or wall anchors and the distance they went in the ground, etc.
Most companies only warranty the area of the foundation they worked on so I would get this document so that the new owners understand what the warranty covers.
