Is sodium betonite effective in basement waterproofing an existing, leaky basement? I have received two very differnt opinions about this. Both contractors suggest a perimeter drainage system. One contractor, one of your members, also suggests soil injection of sodium betonite. The other contractor says sodium betonite does not work to restrict water flow. What can you tell me about the use of sodium bentonite?
